[Now Closed] Restaurant: Simply India

In celebration of F’s birthday, we went to an Indian restaurant for dinner – Simply India. The concept of the restaurant is that although curry has its origins in India, it had travelled to England and the flavours were adapted. From there, the curry has travelled to Korea. I like this way of thinking – that culture is able to live on even if it changes and ends up in a different part of the world.

We ordered the 2 person and 3 person set to share – which collectively included:
– Green salad
– 2 sets of Tandoori chicken
– 5 kinds of curry (butter chicken, chicken masala, beef balti, beef keema, lamb korma)
– Plain, butter, and garlic naan
– Tumeric rice
– Plain yogurt

I think we all enjoyed the meal – and the service. It was a good night.

Happy 24th birthday, F~!
