Gyeongjuhanggyo Confucian School

The Hanggyo had two functions during the Silla period – one, as a higher learning educational institution, and two as a Confucian shrine. Nowadays, the Gyeongjuhanggyo serves as a tourist location but also provides more traditional and cultural experiences. These take place on the weekends – including a performance of a traditional wedding ceremony. I may have even spotted a small archery area in the corner of the complex.

  1. one particular picture of the house looks like a place they stayed at in Family Outing! I think it was the first house they went to haha

    • Are sure it’s not just that the architecture of these buildings are very similar? Haha. You should watch the episode and check the name of the building and all.
