It does seem strange to go to a burger joint for the first meal on Jeju Island but if you were as hungry as we were after traveling for two hours in the rain, then you’re less concerned about how “cultural” it is. Kraze Burger is a chain with locations in Seoul too but I never had a chance to taste it.
There is a sign right by the counter that tells you that the service is not fast. Kraze Burger prides itself on the time it takes for them to grill your burgers. They only start on them after you order and insist on quality, which does separate them from your usual fast food burger joint.
I ordered the K.B. Original burger, without the pickles or spicy sauce. Since we were in Jeju, I did want to try to make my meal a little more local and thus I ordered the Jeju mandarin kiwi juice. It was pretty good; if a little pricey.
