For the duration of Chuseok, Oakwood Premier COEX Center had been offering a special autumn paackage for their hotel rooms. We decided to stay for a night and spend a “lavish” night out in Seoul.
The deluxe studio apartment included a queen size bed, a kitchen area, and complimentary wifi. For those who stay longer, the kitchen is well equipped with cutlery, dishware, and the like. And from the cute little sponge and dishwashing detergent on the counter, you are expected to clean up after yourselves.
In order to get our two free movies to watch, we were led into a nice little business area by the reception area. Lots of new released DVDs were available. But our greatest find was the Hong Kong trilogy, “Internal Affairs” – not that that’s what we ended up choosing.
The multi-player is placed in a position that is not quite ideal for those my height… or even those taller, really.
Our stay included a breakfast buffet in the hotel lounge. I was quite pleased with the selection of greens and fruits. Plus, their smoked salmon was delicious – I may have ate my fill of it that morning.
The boy’s plate consists of a more western-style selection. Your typical bacon and sausage combination.
