Deoksugung

After nine months, I finally had the chance to go to my second palace in Seoul. This time, A and I decided to make it in time for the free English tour for the palace and I’m so glad that we did. In fact, I’m quite eager now to go back to Gyeongbukgung and follow the tour there. On a tour, you can learn so much more about the history, architecture, and cultural aspects of the palace. Otherwise, it really is just a walk in a nice park-courtyard area. I loved the colours on the palace grounds. The beautiful palace buildings with the autumn foliage all around it. I can’t wait for my next palace experience now.
