I really wanted to go to Taebaksan for the sunflower festival this summer circumstances did not allow such a trip to the east. Instead, I found out about the sunflowers in Seoul – located at Haneul Park (Sky Park) at World Cup Stadium Station. I have previously blogged about my visit to Haneul Park last year for the Eulalia Festival. This time, it was quite nice to go to the park without the massive crowds and it was a big difference, seeing the eulalia fields all green.
Although it was just a small field patch of sunflowers, it was still really nice to walk around the park and enjoy the cool weather that’s graced Seoul this summer. Unfortunately, there was a little rain but we managed to visit the area when it had stopped for a bit.
